Focus of Work Experience
Al is an experienced coach, mentor, trainer and facilitator with more than 20 years experience in the corporate arena. He has expertise in executive transformation, leadership development, building teams and talent, cross cultural integration, strategic and critical thinking, interpersonal communication and digital leadership with a range of global blue-chip corporations in banking and finance, insurance, oil and gas, telecommunication, consumer goods, manufacturing, and consulting.
Prior to becoming an executive coach Al worked in various IT roles in a number of multinational organisations both in Australia and Indonesia. With this corporate experience he decided to become an entrepreneur who is focused in human potential development along with creating digital products and innovation.
His vision to support coaching development in Indonesia has led him to establish ICF (International Coach Federation) Jakarta Chapter in 2011. Currently, Al is the only Indonesian who has achieved ICF credential of MCC (Master Certified Coach) accumulating over 2500 hours of coaching experience.
He is the author of best selling coaching book: Coaching, Taking Leadership beyond Boundaries (Melampaui Batas Leadership dengan Coaching). Al holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor’s degree in Geodesy/Earth Science from Institute of Technology Bandung.

Through this approach he believes his clients not only achieve maximum performance but also find the true meaning of work and how it impacts other people in their environment. He combines deep
coaching techniques, mindfulness and leadership tools to support his work in facilitating change and transformation of others.
